Welcome to our Zero Waste Project – a transformative initiative aimed at providing sustainable waste management solutions in collaboration with local entities.
At Mangala Resource Management, we are dedicated to solving major waste management challenges in India through scientific methods and eco-friendly practices. Our Zero Waste Project adopts a decentralized approach to handle solid waste, where we segregate kitchen and dry waste at the source. This allows us to convert kitchen waste into enriching compost using our unique “Black Soldier Composting” technique while recycling dry waste to reduce its environmental impact.
Working Together
Solid Waste Management is a collective initiative. The sustainability in waste handling, can be achieved only through the active participation of various stake holders.
We believe in the concept ‘together we can’, where collaboration with service receiver & our start-up will facilitate to achieve common goal, say, ‘Zero Waste’.
Door to Door Collection of resources!
Wet and dry waste are collected on daily basis from houses, commercial spaces and collection points. In order to achieve 100% segregation, green and blue waste bins are distributed in association with service receiver, imparting proper awareness to stake holders.
Under green initiative, electronic vehicles will be used to facilitate door to door collection, resulting in minimum maintenance and zero fuel.
Composting the Kitchen Waste
The biodegradable wastes are composed with the help of our unique technique called “Black Soldier Composting”. This simple yet significant composting process neither requires any kind of machines nor heavy maintenance.
In this process of composting, within 10 days, Black soldier flies or Hermetia Illucens are attracted towards the smell of decomposing wet waste and they lay eggs in and around compost pit. By the end, enriching fertilizer having high level of NPK is obtained through black soldier composting, with minimum labor and maintenance.
Recycling the Dry Waste
Once the dry wastes are segregated from wet wastes, they are further categorized and stored under 30 varieties. This stock of dry waste is sent for recycling.
The trained staff are used for sorting with safety measures in place. We are happy to share that our zero Waste Project is dumping yard free.

Pot Composting in Apartments
We manage waste in apartments using the 'Pot Composting Technique,' employing trained staff to handle kitchen waste on a daily basis. By installing pot composters in the common areas at zero investment, we ensure a seamless waste management process.
Black Soldier Composting
Our pioneering "Black Soldier Composting" technique effectively manages kitchen waste among bulk waste producers, without the need for heavy machinery or complex maintenance.
Enriching Hermi Compost
Our kitchen waste management technique yields enriching compost with an impressive NPK Level of Certification - 7.2, far surpassing the minimum requirement of 1.2 for any organic compost.
Organic Slurry - The Atmamrita
From 1000 kgs of kitchen waste, we obtain around 100 liters of organic slurry, known as Atmamrita. Local farmers highly value this nutrient-rich organic slurry for their crops.
Electric Bikes and Vehicles
Embracing eco-friendly practices, our trained staff use electric bikes to travel within the city, minimizing our carbon footprint. Additionally, we utilize electric vehicles to carry kitchen and dry waste from various collection points, further reducing environmental impact.
